How do I submit an official transcript once I enroll at JSU?
Official Documents will be due prior to registration for the next term; transcript holds will be placed on student accounts who do not submit their document in a timely manner. Students will be notified via their application portal and personal email address if official documents will be required.
Students will need to send the following documents to the Office of Admissions. Here are the requirements for the documents to be official:
Documents verified by the Office of Admissions from a government/educational board are considered official (ex. Intermediate and Secondary Education Boards Bangladesh, WAEC/NECO, USEF attestation, etc.)
Brought into the Office of Admissions in a sealed envelope from the school. If the document is not in a sealed envelope, the document must have the official seal from the school.
Official copies brought into the Office of Admissions can be returned to students who wish to keep their copies.
Students who have applied to Jacksonville State University can request to defer their application to a future term up to two times (bold) using our Entry Term Update Form. S ubmission deadlines for each term apply (view below). Please note that term deferrals are not automatic and require manual processing.
Students who do not submit a term deferral prior to the established deadlines will need to complete a new application. Please note that some of the items previously submitted, including financial documents, may need to be updated and resubmitted if they are out of date.
